Installation is easy

BLITZDUCTORconnect

Step 1 - Snap the arrester onto the DIN rail

Step 1

Snap the combined lightning current and surge arrester BLITZDUCTORconnect onto the DIN rail.
Step 2 - Connect the incoming lines

Step 2

Now connect the incoming lines to the unprotected side of BLITZDUCTORconnect.

Use the push-in terminals to directly connect the rigid lines to the arrester.
Step 3 - Connect the lines from the system

Step 3

Connect the lines from the system on the protected side of BLITZDUCTORconnect. The right side is clearly marked protected.

When connecting the flexible lines, use a slotted screwdriver to press in the grey push-in button on the arrester.
Step 4 - Install the remote signalling transmitter and receiver unit

Step 4

Now install the remote signalling transmitter and receiver unit onto the DIN rail.

Connect the 24 V power supply and break contact for the remote signalling function via the grey push-in button of the arrester.

The reverse unit is simply clipped onto the DIN rail. Since it is a passive component, absolutely no wiring is required.
Step 5 - Activate the remote signalling unit

Step 5

Switch on the power supply to activate the remote signalling unit.

The LED on the unit lights up red. After a few seconds, it changes to green - now your system is safe and protected.

The printed circuit board-based system solution for protecting measuring and control circuits is now available.

This saves you space because the PCB base part is soldered directly onto the circuit board.
Is makes maintenance easier for you because each individual base part is remotely monitored.

Practical: You can easily replace the pluggable protection modules without using tools. As with all BLITZDUCTORconnect models.
